Titan and Bahamut Astrals Guide to 600
These two have almost always been the strongest of all the Astrals available to us in FFXV: ANE. If you’ve participated in many rallies with your guild, you probably know to add a Titan if you can followed by a Bahamut if there is room for more Astrals in the boat. It’s surprising to see that both of them are getting increased at the same time. Eos is no longer safe with these boosted Summons!
However, the power comes at a price. You won’t be able to easily boost their power since each skill unlocks at level 518. Then, the second level of each skill unlocks at level 529. Of course, you will need plenty of L8 Sigils for Titan and Bahamut to level them up.
Understanding the Terms in this Guide
There will be times you come across a stat in the game that doesn’t make sense. The more you know, the better you play, so here are some of the terms you might need help with:

- Royal Dark Troop boosts – These are an attempt to make the numbers displayed in the game a little easier to work with. Just think of Royal as 1T%, so 100% Dark Royal Cavalry attack would be the same as 100T% Dark Cavalry Attack. A little math, but it’s simple enough.
- Debuffs –
- Attack Resistance, Cripple HP, Armor Piercing: These remove an exact number from your enemy’s stats.
- For example: if your opponent has 500T% Dark Troop HP and you have 100T% Dark Cripple HP, that would leave your enemy with 400T% Dark Troop HP remaining.
- Attack Resistance, Cripple HP, Armor Piercing: These remove an exact number from your enemy’s stats.
- Synergy – These boosts will apply as long as both components of the Synergy are present during combat. For example Dark Mercenary Synergy: Titan would apply when both Dark Mercenary troops and the Astral Titan are included in the battle, no matter where it takes place.

Astrals are Useful
Since you’ve probably already built up your Astral Shrine past level 7, as well as completed the Pre-Dark Astral research, you will benefit from having extra Astrals available to you in your marches. There have also been events and Markets that have given the +1 Astral March Capacity boosts, so you can benefit from every single Astral that you have when sending out troops to combat or defend a tile.
However, when your Astrals are at home defending your empire, you will benefit from ALL of the stats from each Astral due to Multi-Astral Defense. You can find this in many areas, including the aforementioned Astral Shrine levels, Astral Research, as well as from Luna’s Mastery Skills.

Tips from the Gods
- If you’re ever in a pinch and need more Skill Points to allot to the newer skills, you can always remove points from a previous node.

- Pick a seriously outdated skill and click Remove Point however many times you need to.
- Then proceed to add to your new skills.
- Profit!

- Keep an eye on your Astral Health if you ever lose all your troops in a march. If your Astrals are zeroed, they will be ineffective against enemy troops. So, use an Astral Full Health Talisman before sending them out on another march, and even before taking a hit against your empire!
- Astrals will significantly slow your march speed, so you will want to stock up on march speeds or don’t even send them if you don’t need the extra boosts. PvE Cities oftentimes don’t need anything but a few troops to kill them off.

Should You Level Up These Astrals?
Due to the high-level requirements for the first points to be applied in each skill node, there haven’t been many tests to see if it’s worth leveling up Titan and Bahamut. There was an update to both of their Skills Trees and the first level requirements were significantly reduced! (This guide has been updated to reflect the changes). With that being said, the boosts that each Astral has are stackable with each other and there are plenty of nearly identical stats for some troop types. If you’re able to grab quite a bit of the new Sigils, then you’re going to be in a good place to engage in combat.
