Ifrit the Infernian

Ifrit
Ifrit

The God of Fire is also known as The Betrayer. He became fond of mankind and granted them the power of fire. But, once man felt themselves to be greater than the Astrals, Ifrit became angry and retaliated against them. Since the Astrals were the protectors of all humans, even from each other, they fought against Ifrit to defend against his wrath.

We’ve come a long way with Ifrit at our call. From the first Elemental Troops to Dark Troops, Ifrit has been an important ally to bring forth into battle. Now, that we have the ability to send multiple Astrals out into combat, or to defend our empires, it’s time to really see what he’s worth.

Ifrit Levels 1-100

Ifrit 101-150

With the release of Ifrit 150, the first nine skills get increased from 50 to 65 and provide a LOT more boosts to pre-Dark Troops than ever. Now, this is the point where Ifrit becomes essential to an offensive player’s march. So, be sure to beef him up as soon as you can and demolish those players who are hiding behind Leviathan and her wall defense. If you’re past this point don’t worry, I have further levels covered below.

Ifrit Skills

Tempering Inferno: Increases Ifrit’s Armor Bonus up to a max of 100% and Troop Armor for Champions of Ifrit up to a max of 1.9M%. Unlocks at level 101.

Blazing Slash: Increases Ifrit’s Attack Bonus up to a max of 1,400% and Troop Attack for Champions of Ifrit up to a max of 1.1M%. Unlocks at level 101.

Undying Flame: Increases Ifrit’s HP Bonus up to a max of 21% and Troop HP for Champions of Ifrit up to a max of 950,000%. Unlocks at level 101.

Fiery Barrage: Increases HP Shredding up to a max of 30%. Unlocks at level 120.

Ifrit 150 Reviewed

As you can see, he really gains some great stats at this level. Most importantly, the HP Shredding at Ifrit level 150 is 30%. Combine that with the Gilgamesh weapon and King Tonberry Monster and you’re going to slice through your enemy’s troops like they were marshmallows. S’mores, anyone?

Ifrit 151-200

Ifrit makes a comeback with these levels. Basically, he becomes the City Assault powerhouse with all of these stats. Particularly the first stat, seeing that it increases your Dark World Bonuses by 100% when fully maxed. So, that makes every other skill just more powerful and worthwhile to level up completely.

Ifrit Skills
151-200 Skills

The Infernian: Reborn: Increases the amount that Ifrit benefits from Dark World Bonuses up to a max of 100% and increases Ifrit’s total Attack by 10% when attacking a city. Unlocks at level 151.

Fire Shield: Increases Dark City Assault Armor up to a max of 500%. Unlocks at level 151.

Rain of Destruction: Increases Dark City Assault Attack up to a max of 8,000%. Unlocks at level 151.

Bathe In Flames: Increases Dark City Assault HP up to a max of 200%. Unlocks at level 151.

Gathering Power: Increases Dark Mage Attack up to a max of 5,000%. Unlocks at level 160.

Molten Edge: Increases Dark Warrior Attack up to a max of 5,000%. Unlocks at level 160.

Impaling Volley: Increases Dark Cavalry Attack up to a max of 5,000%. Unlocks at level 160.

Ifrit 200 Reviewed

Since this is the first Ifrit release since the Dark World, you can see that these stats boost all the Dark Troops, while the previous levels only work for pre-Dark Troops. Since you don’t need many of the older stats, go ahead and press the “Reset Skills” button and get those points back to use on the new skills. Every bit will help you at this stage since the Dark World is not only dark but deadly. When the Dark World was released, Astrals had a major overhaul in terms of their survivability. So, any of the previous skills that involve hp and armor aren’t as needed. But, as of this point, the attack ones are still going to help you beat your opponents to the ground. Nevertheless, you’ll see even more insane boosts on his next-level release. If you’re not at that level, I’m not sure if you’ll want to keep reading on…

Ifrit 201-250

Be very aware of INSANE Dark World Boosts with these Ifrit levels. The Infernian brings your Warriors to life and sending them out on your invasion of unwilling victims will assure you a victorious outcome.

Ifrit Skills
201-250 Skills

The Infernian: Firestorm: Increases Dark Troop Attack up to a max of 30M%. Unlocks at level 201.

Fiery Resurgence: Increases Dark City Assault HP up to a max of 100M%. Unlocks at level 205.

Searing Aegis: Increases Dark City Assault Armor up to a max of 300M%. Unlocks at level 205.

Infernal Burst: Increases Dark City Assault Attack up to a max of 150M% and Dark Rally Troop Attack up to a max of 50M%. Unlocks at level 210.

Heart of Flames: Increases Dark Troop HP up to a max of 10M% and Dark Warrior HP up to a max of 90M%. Unlocks at level 210.

Fire Guardian: Increases Dark Troop Armor up to a max of 30M% and Dark Warrior Armor up to a max of 270M%. Unlocks at level 210.

Molten Explosion: Increases Dark Troop Attack up to a max of 70M%, Dark Warrior Attack up to a max of 180M%, and Dark City Assault Attack up to a max of 150M%. Unlocks at level 210.

Ifrit 250 Review

As you can see, Ifrit lives up to his designation of the Pyreburner. Burning your foes is what you will do. These skills are incredible for offensive assaults, particularly the Dark Rally skill. This is what makes a solo rally worth doing.

  • A solo rally is when someone sets a rally on an empire and uses the instant march button on the rally page. Instead of waiting for guild members to join, the attacker gets the element of surprise as well as the added boosts that a rally would provide.

Ifrit 251-350

Ifrit 350 Review

Mirror nodes
Mirror Research

The most recent Astral level releases have included Mirror Hero troop boosts to their respective Mirror Hero(es). Obviously Ifrit is no different from his Gentiana and Ignis Mirror boosts. I like how some of his skills correlate to each other because that is like getting double the skills for one type of stat. But, in this case, it’s more like triple! Not only does one boost Ifrit’s skill alone, but the corresponding “Astral” skill also applies to Ifrit. Then, that skill also applies to whatever other Astral you have present in combat. This could be four in a march or ALL of them if you have Multi-Astral Defense activated.

Ways to get four Astrals in a march:

  • Astral Shrine unlock
  • Astral Shrine level 7
  • King Noctis Mastery Skill
  • Astral Research

Ways to get Multi-Astral Defense:

  • Astral Shrine level 9
  • Luna’s Mastery Skill
  • Astral Research

Wrapping It All Up Like a Burrito

As of December 2019, Ifrit level 350 is the max level. While he might not have the insane attack boosts like Ramuh, he provides his own specialties to Troop Supplies and generally boosts other Astrals that he is fighting with. So, you’re going to want to have him in your March Presets to burn everyone around you. Perhaps you just like to taunt others into losing everything against your Citadel walls? Well, he will help you there, too!
