In previous guides, we have covered specialty buildings that enhance your Empire in Final Fantasy: A New Empire. Each of the Auxiliary Buildings has it’s own specialization and typically needs a “building unlock” to become effective. The beautiful thing about the building stats is that they all have passive bonuses after the Dark World.

Not in the Dark World yet?

Check out Aly’s Comprehensive Beginner’s Guide To Buildings leading up to the Dark World.

Newer to the Dark World?

Check out the Auxiliary Buildings 2.0 guide that leads up to Opulent Auxiliary Prints.

Links for those two guides will be at the bottom of this article!

This guide will follow the Auxiliary Building 2.0 guide and continue to cover BRAND NEW and UPDATED Auxiliary Building release from Server One as of May 19th, 2020, as we advance. The purpose they serve and the additional stats they contain as they are refreshed in the future.

Make sure to check out the charts for them as they become available!

Please keep in mind. If you do not see a specific building here, it likely hasn’t been updated yet since the last Auxiliary Building release. With that in mind, please do check out the 2.0 version for reference.

Crystal Nexus

(May 19th, 2020)

The Crystal Nexus did not get your ideal Auxiliary Building to upgrade; however, the latest Nexus update is worth noting. Remember when you could use four Crystal Cores at a time to activate? Now you can use FIVE!

The fifth new Core slot must be unlocked through the Gold Store and can only be slotted with specific unique Cores. Three Special Cores can be used in this fifth slot as of right now.

Is it worth it? It depends on the game style you play. Two of the three Cores that are out are Offense based in the Neutral Cities area. The third can be used in both situations.

Conquesting Capital Core

This particular Core is useful when attacking Capitals.

Conquesting Capital Core stats:Conquesting Capital Core

*stats are at level 6

  • 12T% Capital Dark Assault and Rally Assault Attack
  • 6T% Capital Dark Assault HP and Rally HP
  • 18T% Capital Dark Assault Armor and Rally Armor
  • 200% Capital Dark Assault Attack Multiplier

If you don’t attack Capitals, then this isn’t for you.

Ancient Kings Core

The Ancient Kings Core is useful for your King of Lucis. Your King of Lucis Summons can be used when Attacking or Defending your Empire. So this Core will be helpful in both situations.

Ancient Kings Core stats:Ancient Kings Core

*stats are at level 6

  • 4T% King of Lucis: Dark Troop Attack and Synergy: Astral & Kings of Lucis
  • 7T% King of Lucis: Dark Troop and Elemental Attack
  • 21T% King of Lucis: Dark Troop Armor
  • 10T% King of Lucis: Dark Elemental HP
  • 20T% King of Lucis: Dark Elemental Armor

Thousands Assault Core

This Core itself strengthens your damage upon Vaults, Forts, and the one and only Crystal.

Thousands Assault Core stats:Thousand Assault Core

*stats are at level 6

  • 15T% Dark Crystal Assault Rally as well as Vault Dark Troop Attack
  • 8T% Dark Crystal Assault Rally and Vault Dark Troop HP
  • 24T% Dark Crystal Assault Rally and Vault Dark Troop Armor
  • 3T% Disputed Realms Dark Assault Attack
  • 9T% Disputed Realms Dark Assault Armor
  • 200% Dark Siege Vault Assault Speciality
  • 100% Dark Siege Crystal Assault Specialty
  • 10T% Disputed Realms Dark Rally Attack

So unless you participate in Vault or Fort events or battle the Crystal aggressively, this one isn’t for you either.

Troop Academy

Troop Academy

(July 15th, 2020)

The Troop Academy has changed the game we know in Final Fantasy: A New Empire to allow you to intensify, empower, and employ your troops even further. This building permits you to UPGRADE low-level troops to higher levels or CONVERT them to another troop type to suit your gameplay considerably. Promoting and Converting is useful to your Dark Core and Mercenary Troops.

Upon release day, Server one and two acquired this building for free, so no unlock is required.

However, some prerequisites have to be in play.

Promotion

Promoting Troops will create a troop that is one level higher. The Troops have to be the same type, such as Mages advance Mages, Guardians raise Guardians, and so on.

Troop Promotions for Dark Troops are on a 5:1 ratio.

Troop Promotions for Dark Mercenaries are on a 6:1 ratio.

Both require 100 Troop Commendation PER promotion.

Example:

5 Level 12 Dark Core Troop = 1 Level 13 Dark Core Troop

Keep in mind that each troop level is approximately 6x more durable than the previous level, so even though you have to lose troops for every promotion, this is still compelling for you.

The Troop Academy currently allows you to promote up to Dark Core T14 and Mercenaries up to T16. Remember that you must have these Troops unlocked from Dark Advanced Combat and Mercenary Research to promote or convert the troops themselves.

Dark Core T12 to T13

Promoting from Dark Core T12 to Dark Core T13 is free with 100 Troop Commendations per Troop Promotion.

5 Level 12 Dark Core Troop + 100 Troop Commendation = 1 Level 13 Dark Core Troop

Dark Core T13 to 14

To promote from T13 to T14, you will need Troop Promotion Unlock researched in Dark Advanced Combat Research (Level 4).

5 Level 13 Dark Core Troop + 100 Troop Commendation = 1 Level 14 Dark Core Troop

Dark Mercenary T14 to T15

To go from T14 to T15, you will need Troop Promotion Unlock researched in Dark Advanced Combat Research (Level 4).

6 Level T14 Dark Mercenary + 100 Troop Commendation = 1 Level 15 Dark Mercenary

Dark Mercenary T15 to T16

Promoting from T15 to T16, you will need Troop Promotion Unlock researched in Dark Advanced Combat Research (Level 4).

6 Level T15 Dark Mercenary + 100 Troop Commendation = 1 Level 16 Dark Mercenary

Dark Elemental T11 to T12

(July 22nd, 2020)

Promoting from T11 to T12, you will need Dark Elemental Lv. 11 to 12 Promotion Unlock researched in the Dark Elemental Research Tree (Level 1).

5 Level T11 Dark Elemental + 100 Troop Commendation = 1 Level 12 Dark Elemental

Converting

Converting Troops will formulate a troop of the same level, but by a different type. However, this works if you require a particular troop type over the other, such as Airships or Juggernauts over your Mechs.

Have Mercenaries accumulated from Realm Bosses or various of Troop Chests? Or better yet, when new releases come out, making another Mercenary type stronger than the other? This is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of this building to convert to the ones you need. Switching troops in the Troop Academy prevents you from having to dismiss them over and over again within time.

You may transform ANY Mercenary for another Mercenary type, and the same goes for your Dark Core T14. You cannot mix and match troop types, like Airships to Siege. It must be within the same category, such as replacing your Siege for Mages or Mechs for Guardians.

Troop Converting are on a 1:1 ratio

10 Troop Commendation required PER conversion

Example:

ANY Level 16 Mercenary = ANY other Level 16 Mercenary

ANY Level 14 Dark Core Troop = ANY other Level 14 Dark Core Troop

Dark Mercenary T16

Converting Mercenary T16’s, you will need Troop Conversion Unlock researched in Dark Advanced Combat Research (Level 4).

Level 16 Mechs + 10 Troop Commendation = Level 16 Airships

Dark Core T14

Dark Core T14’s also demand Troop Conversion Unlock researched in Dark Advanced Combat Research (Level 4).

Level 14 Dark Mage + 10 Troop Commendation = Level 14 Dark Cavalry

Dark Elemental T12

(July 22nd, 2020)

Dark Elemental T12’s require Dark Elemental Lv. 11 Convert researched in the Dark Elemental Research (Level 1).

Level 12 Dark Lightning + 450 Troop Commendation = Level 12 Dark Fire

Tempering Hall

Tempering Hall

(October 6th, 2020)

The Tempering Hall building provides you with additional Royal Dark and Elemental Specialty Reduction bonuses. This particular building would be advantageous in defensive circumstances.

Tempering Hall stats:

*stats are at maxed level

  • 200% Dark Fire Specialty Resistance
  • 100% Dark Lightning, Earth, as well as Ice Specialty Resistance
  • 400T% Dark Ifrit Attack
  • 15KT% Dark Elemental Attack Resistance
  • 7.5KT% Dark Elemental Cripple HP
  • 22.5KT% Dark Elemental Armor Piercing
  • 900% Royal Dark Troop HP

Dark Elemental Specialty Resistance – Lowers the special multipliers that your enemy Elementals have when being attacked.

Example:

Dark Fire Specialty Resistance reduces the bonus damage that Dark Fire Elementals inflict when attacking your Empire. (The damage can be reduced until the Dark Fire Elemental multiplier is back to its original 10%)

Royal Dark stats adds onto preexisting Dark stats on a 1%:1T% basis, so 900% Royal Dark Toop HP is equivalent to 900T% Dark Troop HP.

Updated Auxiliary Buildings

Following the Dark World announcement, the older Auxiliary Buildings renew overtime with additional boosts beyond the building’s purpose to remain consistent. Not all of them update at the same time, it will vary, but all will have the same type of prints required during the releases instead of their ones that the pre-dark world did.

When new Auxiliary Buildings release, it will use whatever Auxiliary Blueprint is available to use at that time once unlocked, of course, and remain in the pattern as the others. Typically they will have the same requirements PER building as well. If they do not, it will be noted below otherwise.

Total prints needed PER building:

Riotous Auxiliary Building Blueprints needed: 31,750,000

*excluding War Requilary, which requires 31,700,000 Riotous Auxiliary Blueprints

Tempered Auxiliary Building Blueprints needed: 20,000,000

Labyrinthine Auxiliary Building Blueprints needed: 13,200,000

Infernal Auxiliary Buildings Blueprints needed: ????

(June 16th, 2020)

This building not only grants Power of Mounts bonuses but currently boosts the Mount that is activated by providing you with additional Mount Attack, Endurance, and Strength.

Links to Order of Hero guides provided at the end of this guide!

(July 15th, 2020)

Aside from an additional ten levels, the Order of Heroes acquires four new Orders! Order of Ancestry, Growth, Beasts, as well as Knowledge. Along with the level 11-20 of the older Orders, these four new ones require a Tier 2 of their corresponding unlocks. Besides packs, you can acquire these unlocks from Monsters and Events.

Check out what the brand new Orders consist of and how it serves your Empire!

A Hero MUST be assigned to the Order for the benefits to be active!

(September 9th, 2020)

Like the Crystal Nexus, the Arcanaeum did not get your regular update. However, it has acquired a significant research boost since the Dark World.

You will need Dark Arcanaeum Tomes to complete the new research.

Oracle Temple

The Oracle Temple is the building to go to when you want passive bonuses. Passive bonuses are the hidden gems of your Empire, especially for defense and trap players since no power reflects it.

(September 9th, 2020)

The latest Oracle Temple release primarily focuses on the new Royal stats. Keep in mind that 1% of Royal stats are equivalent to 1T% Dark Core Troop stats. So while 500% Royal Dark Core Troops may look minor, it is as effective as 500T% Dark Core Troops.

Also, the Royal Blessings section contains a considerable amount of Troop Cost Efficiency benefits for your Dark Mercenaries, which is worth looking into since Troops are practically impossible to train.

The new benefits will be located in the Dark World section into the Royal Blessings tab. You will need Royal Gem Fragments, Royal Conquering Orbs, in addition to Royal Amber Fossils.

Royal Amber Fossils will only be obtainable by participating in events, so make sure you watch out for those!
