In the Pre-Dark World, “special” buildings now known as Auxiliary Buildings stood out, served their purpose, and typically was a game-changer upon release night. Whether the building was a home for your Monster Champions or increasing your Troop Capacity, they become irrelevant over time and sometimes too quickly. However, in the Dark World, they make their comeback one way or another.
In this guide, we will cover:
- The particular building’s purpose
- What type of prints are required, and how many
- What changes Auxiliary buildings make in the Dark World
- Auxiliary building guides to continue in the Dark World.

Mythic Forge
The Mythic Forge allows you to:
- View your Gear Set Bonus
- Upgrade your Gear quality from basic to legendary
- Power up your gear beyond legendary
- Increase your Set Gear Leveling
In the first tab, you will be able to view your Gear and its status. When selecting the Gear, you can then see the Gear Set bonuses it provides and each piece’s requirements.
In the ‘Upgrade Gear Quality’ section, you have the opportunity to increase your Gear’s quality from Basic (grey) to Legendary by using particular items to increase per piece per level, which in the Dark World, is known as Sigils of Quality.
Once your Gear has reached Legendary status, you will find some use in the ‘Power Up Legendary Gear’ tab, which allows you to enhance additional bonuses on each piece using the Power Up Material assigned to that Gear. In the Dark World, this will be known as Power Up Material.
Gear Set Leveling enables you to grant additional bonuses by leveling them up with particular experience points. This feature is the same concept as if you were leveling your Hero but for your Gear. Set Gear Leveling bonus requires a minimum Legendary Gear from each Equipment type for you to level up the gear itself, such as the Helmet, Footwear, Body Armor, Weapon, and ONE Accessory.
You do not need all three accessories from that Gear Set to trigger. If Gear XP is required, you can accumulate it from hitting the Realm Boss or attacking your opponent.

Proving Grounds
In the Proving Grounds building, you can use Elixir to hit Monsters to earn older Gear items, Currency, and so on.
While this building has not been instrumental in the pre-dark world, there eventually are events that will take place in the Proving Grounds. However, newer ones will require different Elixir. With that in mind, be sure to stock, if you can, for hourly events and whatnot.

Arcanaeum
The Arcanaeum building, the Secret University that took forever and a day to unlock, allows you to research, craft, and apply temporary consumable Enhancements to your Gear.
The first tab is where you can enchant your Gear. Some of the enhancements are only permitted on particular pieces.
The ‘Research Enhancements’ tab empowers your stats on the enhancements. This is exceptionally vital to do and is a game-changer in the pre-dark world.
Tip: Monster and Dungeon related enhancements are still applicable in the Dark World and become increasingly difficult to acquire.
The last tab is an overview of your Regent inventory.

Command Center
The Command Center, formally known as Commander Hall, permits you to manage and promote your Commanders. The Command Center at the time was also a great way to increase your March Size, along with Training Capacity for your Mercenaries and Core Troops.
At level 10, you will reach:
- 2M Troop Capacity
- 600,000 Mercenary Troop Capacity
- 70,000 March Size
In the Dark World, the Command Center will convert to Troop Supplies and dominate the game for some time and as new levels are released.
You will also notice the Troop Capacity/March Size continues to increase. Don’t fret; Troop Supplies will still fall under the standard March Size category. Continue to expand it accordingly.

In the Ignis Diner, you can collect plates and ingredients to create a meal that provides temporary consumable boosts.
To make a meal, you choose a plate and select your ingredients. Keep in mind that the stats on the dishes you see in the blog and guides are not guaranteed; they will fall into a range. When cooked, they will end up somewhere in this spectrum.

Auxiliary Buildings in the Dark World
In the Dark World, aside from new Auxiliary Building releases, the older Auxiliary Buildings update overtime with additional advances exceeding the building’s intent to remain applicable. Not all of the buildings will update equivalently, it diversifies, but they all will have identical prints required instead of distinct ones pre-dark world did.
