This article was written by popular request! In it, we will discuss all of the blueprint requirements to upgrade the Proving Grounds, Monster Farm, Mythic Forge, Mercenary Fighting Pits, and the Oracle Temple. We have not included Order of Heroes, as that building requires that you invest in Orders, not in building levels, or the newest Guild Adventurers Hall or the Magitek Converter.

At present, it is possible to unlock most of these buildings with special Building Unlock Items that you can win as Tier 3 rewards in various events. Troop Training Events before RvRs and other big weekend events often have these as rewards; you should also keep an eye out for Monster Hunt Events, as they sometimes also offer this item. Additionally, the current Moogle Rewards Cart offers additional blueprints as bonus rewards each time you buy a pack.

If you have an idea for an article you want to request, let us know on the official FFXVANE Hub Discord here.

If you have screen shots you would like to send us to add to this article, or if you would like to contribute to additional building blueprint requirements, please contact us via Discord, in the comments section below, or you can email us here.

Proving Grounds Blueprint Requirements

To upgrade your Proving Grounds, click on the building and then “Upgrade.”

If you don’t have enough blueprints to upgrade, you can click on Proving Grounds Blueprints from the upgrade screen and it will take you to a pack with blueprints. If your Proving Grounds is still level 1, the first pack is usually around 22,000 blueprints, which will upgrade your Proving Grounds to level 3. Using this same method, the next pack for Proving Grounds Blueprints you’ll see is for around 60,000, which will take your Proving Grounds to level 8. The only dungeon you won’t be able to access after buying two packs of Proving Grounds Blueprints is Grim Reapers. One more pack of Proving Grounds Blueprints will allow you to max out your building at level 9 and enter any dungeon.

Monster Farm Blueprint Requirements

Monster Farm has a very simplistic formula for their building blueprints. It doubles with every level. To upgrade you Monster Farm, click on the building and then upgrade. If you don’t have enough blueprints to upgrade, you can click on Monster Farm Blueprints from the upgrade screen and it will take you to a pack with blueprints.

Here are the monsters you’ll be able to access at each Monster Farm level. If you’re having trouble trying to decide how far you want to upgrade your Monster Farm, click on the type of monster below to be taken to our article about the benefits of each, or read our Monster Farm Comparison article here.

Level 1 Monster Farm – Chocobo (+88% Troop Attack)

Level 2 Monster Farm (200 Blueprints) – Grenade (+120% Warrior Attack), Galvanade (+120% MagebAttack), Cryonade (+120% Calvary Attack)

Level 3 Monster Farm (400 Blueprints) – Marlboro (+100% Troop HP)

Level 4 Monster Farm (600 Blueprints) – Tonberry (+200% Armor Piercing) and Yojimbo (+60% Warrior Attack, HP & Armor)

Level 5 Monster Farm (800 Blueprints) – Wyvern (+100% Troop Attack), Valentine’s Flan (+80% Attack Resistance), Spiracorn (+50% City Assault Attack, +50% City Assault Armor, +50% City Assault HP), Griffon (+50% Airship Attack, +90% Troop Attack)

Level 6 Monster Farm (1,600 Blueprints) – Ronin (+150% Samurai Attack, +50% Armor Piercing)

Mythic Forge Blueprint Requirements

To upgrade your Mythic Forge, click on the building and then upgrade. If you don’t have enough blueprints to upgrade, you can click on Mythic Forge Blueprints from the upgrade screen and it will take you to a pack with blueprints.

Mythic Forge requires 20 Blueprints at level 2, 40 at level 3, 60 at level 4, 80 at level 5, and finally 300 blueprints at level 6.

Mythic Forge allows you to upgrade equipment to the next best level of quality using iron scraps and one less crafting material than if you were to craft the next level of gear.

For example, if you want to upgrade purple Epic equipment to gold Legendary equipment then you’ll need 3 of each type of level 5 (purple) crafting material.

There is a catch – you can only upgrade equipment to the corresponding level of your Mythic Forge. That means if you want to upgrade Epic equipment to Legendary equipment then you’ll need a level 6 Mythic Forge.

Mercenary Fighting Pit Blueprint Requirements

To upgrade your Mercenary Fighting Pit, click on the building and then upgrade. If you don’t have enough blueprints to upgrade, you can click on Mercenary Fighting Pit Blueprints from the upgrade screen and it will take you to a pack with blueprints.

The higher you upgrade your Mercenary Fighting Pit, the stronger mercenaries you will be able to recruit. At the time this article was published, this building has a maximum of level 5, which will allow you to train up to 400,000 mercenaries.

Read our article about the best mercenaries, like City Guardians, Winter Mercenaries, Samurais, Steelwing Airships, Dragoon Raiders and many more!

Oracle Temple Blueprint Requirements

To upgrade your Oracle Temple, click on the building and then “upgrade.” If you don’t have enough blueprints to upgrade, you can click on Oracle Temple Blueprints from the upgrade screen and it will take you to a pack with blueprints. In order to access most of the special lifetime boosts, you only need to upgrade your oracle Temple to level 3.

Oracle Temple allows you to craft lifetime boosts, such as resource production, capacity, and construction or research requirement boosts. You can also make double EXP, double MP, and hero medal halfer boosts for each of your heroes. The best part of the Oracle Temple is that you can craft combat and defense boosts, including everything from +5,000 March Size, 50% March Speed, 150% Troop Attack, and many more! Each lifetime boost requires large amounts of stones and artifacts that can only be used at the Oracle Temple.

The Oracle Temple’s blueprint requirements follow:

Level 1 Oracle Temple (Unlock)

Level 2 Oracle Temple (200 Blueprints)

Level 3 Oracle Temple (400 Blueprints)

Level 4 Oracle Temple (600 Blueprints)

Level 5 Oracle Temple (800 Blueprints)

This is great. I didn’t see the blueprint requirements for the oracle temple though. Did I miss it or were they excluded?

Monster farm requirements are incorrect. The upgrade from level 4 to level 5 is 800.
