Dark Fury VIP
If you haven’t noticed by now, the release schedule is a bit different than it has been in the past. Even though there are fewer releases every week, you’ll see more of each type of release. This week we get a whopping THIRTY levels of Dark Fury VIP!
VIP 350 requires Royal Dark VIP and starting at 351 you’ll need to get the new Dark Fury VIP points so you can level up to 380.
Here’s a handy guide to help you interpret the meaning behind some of the features unlocked with VIP:
Skill Tree Quality of Life Improvements
(Hero Skills, Mastery Skills, Astrals, Mounts, Kings of Lucis, Powers of Skills)
VIP Add Points –
Allows you to add more than one point to a single skill node at a time. This only works if you can level that node more than once, but you also need to have enough points to do so.
VIP Remove Points –
This allows you to remove skill points from a single node without needing to use a Reset and re-skilling the whole tree.
Dark Royal Attack Resistance, Dark Royal Cripple HP, and Dark Royal Armor Piercing are subtractive and do not remove a percentage of your opponent’s total stats.
Cost Efficiency –
Reduces the cost of that particular RSS.
The formula is Original Cost/(1+Efficiency) = Your Cost.
100% Efficiency ends up as a 50% reduction in cost.
Preset Unlocks –
Gear Presets: This allows you to create quick buttons for different Gear setups.
Some good Presets to have on a hero:
- Monster Gear
- Dungeon Gear
- Offensive Combat
- Defensive Combat
Hero Skill Presets: This allows you to make different Hero, Mastery, and King skills so you can maximize your skill points.
Here are some ideas for Skill Presets:
- Defensive Combat
- Offensive Combat
- Crystal/Fort Combat
- Hero MP/Guild Adventure Hall
Use both types of presets so you can easily switch between different gameplay styles!
Royal Dark Stats –
This was released quite a while ago, but now it doesn’t only apply to Dark Troops. Now you will see more Royal Dark stats in different places. For example, Royal Dark Astral Attack and Royal Dark Fort Assault Attack are two new stats introduced in Dark Fury VIP.
10,000% Dark Royal Astral Attack = 10KT% Dark Astral Attack
What Comes With VIP 380?
The only Quality of Life Improvements in this release is the ability to Add/Remove points in The Tall’s skill tree. But, there are plenty of Cost Efficiencies for Hero Medals, Sigils, and Tomes as well as Troop Training Reductions. You’ll also find some Dark Royal Debuffs to go along with the new Dark Royal combat stats. One surprising thing found in these VIP levels is going to be Order of Heroes MP Regen for a few heroes.
Dark Fury VIP 381-410
What to Expect From VIP 410
Since the drops have even more levels than before, you will see reduction and efficiency boosts that are more worthwhile at those levels. If you haven’t maxed out these features yet, it would benefit you to level up your VIP first!
Should You Get Dark Fury VIP?
Chances are, you have been able to buy some Dark Fury VIP from events, Moogle Markets, or even packs. If you haven’t been able to level up to 350, you’ll need to get Royal Dark VIP or an instant VIP 350 token to use the new type of VIP points needed to level up to 351 and beyond. VIP is one of the hardest features to catch up on if you’re ever behind, so it’s best to keep up.
There are some great benefits like combat stats and troop training reductions. But some aren’t as awesome for example, Medal Efficiencies for heroes whose medals are easy to get from Markets and events.
How to Get the Most From VIP
If you’re slow to adopt the new levels of VIP, you will not be able to get the most out of each level. Most likely the features that are improved with these VIP levels will be easily obtainable by simply grinding through the game. Because it is supposed to be an elite program, hence the VIP status, that is to be expected. So, if you can get the new Dark Fury VIP, you will end up saving a lot of resources and get some hefty combat stats to make your empire even stronger.
VIP has a lot of useful features in it that we couldn’t live without. Do you remember not being able to remove gems from your gear or not having the ability to share battle reports? Those were tough times! VIP has always been the best way to add combat stats without adding additional power, which is good for players who want to stay small but still pack a punch. So, VIP is handy for players of all shapes and sizes, no matter how you play.
