As we embark on a mission with Noctis to reclaim his kingdom invaded by Niflheim’s empire, he discovers he is on a quest to combat the powers of darkness with the forces of light only the Lucian lineage of kings can wield. As he continues to complete his prophecy as the One True King, Attuned and Merciless, Eos Gear makes its way into Eos to battle darkness.

In this guide, we will cover:

  • Attuned Eos Gear pieces
  • Gear Set Bonus
  • Upgrading, Powering Up, and Gear Set Leveling
  • How does it compare to Exalted Crimson and Merciless Eos Gear?

Firstly, let’s elaborate on each of the pieces’ similarities before breaking down their distinctions.

Attuned Eos Gear pieces

Attuned Eos pieces

(February 17th, 2021)

Attuned Eos Gear primarily focuses on benefiting your Dark Core and Elemental Troops, specifically your Fire Troops.

Like the Exalted Crimson Gear Set, this particular Gear will require Dark (T5) Gil to forge instead of your standard Gil. Each piece requires 30T, totaling 210T for the entire set.

Each piece has some similarities and contains differences to make each piece stand out from one another.

The stats below are at Legendary (Lv 6) unless otherwise noted.

Attuned Eos Gear Boost PER Piece

  • 25,000% Royal Dark Troop Attack
  • 12,500% Royal Dark Troop Armor

The bonus will be determined by the lowest level piece you own. If you have one Epic piece and the rest are Uncommon, you will get the Uncommon Set Bonus. Upgrading, Powering Up, and Gear Set Leveling

Upgrading and Powering Up

Check the Mythic Forge to Upgrade, Power Up, and level your Gear further.

With previous Gear Sets, we have only had one type of Upgrading and Powering Up Materials to level our pieces. The Attuned and Merciless Eos Gear Sets will require TWO different Materials for Upgrading AND Powering Up.

Upgrading

When upgrading your Attuned Gear pieces individually from Uncommon to Gold, you will require Attuned Eos Sigil of Quality and Attuned Eos Master Sigil of Quality.

Level one (Uncommon to Common) will only need Attuned Eos Sigil of Quality. Then level two to six (Common to Legendary) will need both of the Sigils of Qualities.

Upgrading Chart

Upgrading

Powering Up

You will need two different Power Up Materials to power up your gear pieces from level one to ten. Levels one to four will require Attuned Eos Power Up Material, while five through ten will need both Attuned Power Up Material and Attuned Eos Master Power Up Material.

How Does it Compare?

It all comes down to the fact, is this set worth it? Is it advantageous than the last release?

This section will compare Attuned Eos to Merciless Eos, which was released the same day, along with the previously released gear, Exalted Crimson.

Legendary Exalted Crimson vs. Attuned Eos vs. Merciless Eos

All three sets have stat types per piece. Therefore that section will make it easier for observation.

Exalted Crimson Gear Boost PER Piece:

  • 30,000% Royal Dark Core Troop Attack
  • 10,000% Royal Dark Core Troop HP
  • 20,000% Royal Dark Core Troop Armor
  • 6,000% Royal Dark Mercenary and Elemental Attack
  • 2,000% Royal Dark Mercenary as well as Elemental HP
  • 4,000% Royal Dark Mercenary in addition to Elemental Armor

Attuned Eos:

  • 25,000% Royal Dark Troop Attack
  • 12,500% Royal Dark Troop Armor
  • 37,500% Royal Dark Troop HP
  • 35,000% Royal Dark Core Troop Attack
  • 17,500% Royal Dark Core Troop Armor
  • 52,500% Royal Dark Core Troop HP
  • 10,000% Royal Dark Elemental Attack
  • 5,000% Royal Dark Elemental HP
  • 15,000% Royal Dark Elemental Armor

Merciless Eos:

  • 25,000% Royal Dark Troop Attack
  • 12,500% Royal Dark Troop Armor
  • 37,500% Royal Dark Troop HP
  • 30,000% Royal Dark Mercenary Attack
  • 15,000% Royal Dark Mercenary HP
  • 45,000% Royal Dark Mercenary Armor
  • 3,000% Royal Dark Monster Attack
  • 1,500% Royal Dark Monster HP
  • 4,500% Royal Dark Monster Armor

Which is better?

Attuned and Merciless contain Royal Dark Troop stats that benefit ALL Troop types.

However, Exalted Crimson and Merciless Eos grant additional boosts to your Mercenaries. In fact, Merciless Eos contains:

  • 5xs Royal Dark Mercenary Attack
  • 7.5xs Royal Dark Mercenary HP
  • 11.25xs Royal Dark Mercenary Armor

Merciless also assist your Dark Monster Troops as well, while Attuned boosts Elementals.

Attuned Eos has 1.6xs more Royal Dark Elemental Attack, 2.5xs more Royal Dark Elemental HP, and 3.75xs more Royal Dark Elemental Armor.

With current stats in-game, it appears that Attuned Eos and Merciless Eos gear pieces would perform better TOGETHER in terms of Troop kills and survivability. Since they are sold together, piece them together and test out your results. Keep in mind that while one player may benefit from particular pieces, you may not. It all depends on your game style and how your stats are currently displayed.
