Today, the Hub turns to take a look at another important building: The Crystal Nexus. This building contains Crystal Cores that provide bonuses for your Empire. These bonuses engage when the Crystals are activated, and each lasts for a specific length of time. There is a cooldown for each bonus that limits the number of times they can be used in a set period. Each level of building unlocks a different type of Core, each with its own specific use.

Let’s examine each of these Cores, and see their effects and cooldown times. Find out which ones are right for your goals!

What are Cores and Where do I Find Them?

Cores are found in the Crystal Nexus. You can equip/activate up to four normal Cores at a time, and one Special Slot Core. Cores are generally purchasable or won in Events. They are a timed boost, so you activate them using the “Activate All” button. There are tons to choose from! As you can see from the top row below, you can set up presets for your most commonly used Cores  (Monster, Defense, Offense, Crystal, etc).

Deciding Which Cores to Use

This decision ultimately lands on what you’re trying to accomplish. Some Cores can be used both in Offensive and Defensive postures, while others are more targeted. That’s due to the fact that they can potentially be used on either side.  These are listed from the most recent and go back in time. Not listed are the older Cores, but you get the picture.

So after the initial cooldown period are each of the boosts permanent? Or is the duration period it?

They are permanent. You just have to wait to use them again for the cooldown period.

I took it simply for the loyalty bonus on the guild missions and the better mats. Getting at least uncommon mats or better is a huge benefit and the loyalty is at least 50.000 if you collect the missions with ignis
