Research is a vital part of your gameplay, no matter the game style preference. It is the primary key to where your stats come from, so it is essential to have it maxed out to back you up when attacking or defending your Empire from your opponents.
Well, we know Research lately has gotten rather expensive, so it has either:
- Been very expensive to our wallets
- Forced us to pick and choose which ones we lean towards
- Do the bare minimum to achieve our ultimate goal
Those instant Research packs have been rather lovely lately, saving us the time, RSS, and Speed ups that we would have had to consume.
Lucky for us, we now have a Gear set that will help us drastically reduce our Research costs, think of this Gear like the Dark Delegator Gear but designed explicitly for Researching! The Lead Researcher’s Gear Set will help you with your Research Tome requirements, RSS costs, in addition to the timing. This can be valuable and help us stretch our Resources and Speedups so that we can use if towards other things like our Buildings or Troop costs.
This set is targeted to help your Research that requires Dark T1-T3 Resources and reduce the time that is necessary to perform the Research. In terms of Tomes, this set helps with your T8-9 Elementals, T11-12 Dark Troops, as well as your Troop Supplies should you have the whole set and unlock the set bonuses.

Lifetime Boosts
There have been some Permanent Lifetime boosts that can aid you in your Research. Lifetime Boosts are purely purchasable by packs only. If you were not able to claim them shortly after they have been released, within time, they tend to collaborate them in bulk into catch up packs.
Do Lifetime Boosts stack?
When purchasing a Lifetime boost, keep in mind that Lifetime Boosts DO NOT STACK within themselves. However, they do stack with the other releases before and after that.
The highest value that you purchase will be applied to your Empire.
If they do stack somehow, it will be mentioned in the blog, such as the +1 Astral Per March boost. So if you decide to buy these boosts, make sure to double-check the blog to see whether they do or not.

Notice how I said up to when mentioning the stats? When these boosts are released in packs, they will not contain that amount right away. It will be lower value and accumulate within acquiring packs.
Example:
MP Boost Lifetime release
Up to 1T MP boost
The first pack will contain 50B MP
The second pack will contain 100B MP
And so, on.
So if you buy two packs and receive the 50B MP and the 100B MP, the 100B MP will take the place of the 50B MP you previously bought as they do not stack within one another.
Do you want to save a little cash? BOGO packs usually will increase the Lifetime boosts upon purchasing if you are serious about it.
Supreme Vaults
When the Supreme Vaults come around on the scar, they can be a great help to you and your Guild, similar to the Crystal you can claim one and defend them until it goes into protection mode or it is defeated. When a Supreme Vault is claimed, the benefits work right away until the Vault is taken away or the event is over. 
The Supreme of Lightning and Earth provide Research bonuses to help your entire Guild.

Comparing with and without Research Gear
Let’s compare the Lead Researcher’s gear set with the new Monster Troop Research to see the differences since this Research is extensive.
As you can see, it helps quite a bit. This help is mainly from the Gear Set bonus, so you do not have to wear the set to get this efficiency. However, when doing previous Researches make sure to double-check what Resources and Speedups the Research needs so that if you need the Gear on, you can take full advantage of the bonuses this gear provides.
When to wear the Gear?
When your Research requires Dark T1-T2 Resources make sure you wear it so you can get even more efficiency costs down.

Especially if you obtain the entire set, the bonuses for having it is beneficial.
