Aldercapt Hero Guide

Emperor Iedolas Aldercapt
Leader of the Niflheim Empire, Iedolas Aldercapt tries to trick King Regis into bringing peace between the two empires. While he is definitely a villain, in FFXV: ANE he is our new hero. Don’t let bad blood dissuade you into seeing what benefits you can gain with each hero level.
Aldercapt Hero Skills
One of the most notable skills that I see in Aldercapt’s Hero Skills Tree is the high 3.6M% Physical Damage in the Guild Adventure Hall. This is the highest single skill level out of any hero. Although this doesn’t quite surpass some of the other heroes’ combined skills, it’s a start to getting him caught up to par. His MP Multiplier Bonus is quite low compared to more recent hero releases. The rest of his Hero Skills are combat stats with very few focuses. Neutral City Assault with an add March Speed increase will help you show those NPCs who’s boss!

This Enchantment boosts your Dark Monster Troops when you enchant your weapon. All you need to do is unlock that skill and get Daemon Form Reagents and you’re ready to burn some enemies!

Dungeon Runner
With an astounding Physical Damage bonus of 3.6M%, he deals significant damage in the Guild Adventure Hall. Even if he isn’t one of the top three attackers in the hall, you will still be a contender when running with your guild! While I haven’t seen it in action, his third ability: “So Glorious” has the chance to deal an additional 3,000% damage along with its original 4,000%. So, time will tell whether that additional push will make him better than other heroes.

THANK YOU!

Is Aldercapt Worth It?
From what I hear, he isn’t too exceptional at a low level for offensive purposes. If you need a bit of a boost in your general combat stats, then you won’t go wrong with having him in your arsenal. His Mastery Skills offer the highest stats so far from any hero released. I haven’t yet seen his stats on defense, but the Astral and Kings of Lucis debuffs are interesting to me.
If you’re interested in burning players, no matter what, you’ll love the Foras Enchantment added to your Dark Monster Troop Missile!
Dark Monster Troop Missile
A missile is a specialized attack that focuses on only one troop type. These are usually meant to counter a specific aspect of a player’s defense or to take advantage of a higher boost for a particular troop type that you may have. Monster missiles have become popular for players to yeet another player off of the Crystal Scar, or just to see the beautiful flames.
Now that tier 2 Dark Monster troops are out, their effectiveness as a missile has been somewhat balanced since each troop death counts as 200 kills! This means you need to kill over 200x the troops from your opponent in order to win and subsequently burn them. Nyx Mirror Heroes, the new Monster gems, along with the new Foras Enchantment might give you that extra boost you need to make your Dark Monster troops an effective missile. Happy roasting!!
