Guide to Iedolas Aldercapt Level 200

Aldercapt Pic

As the leader of the Niflheim Empire, Aldercapt attempts to conquer all of Eos and only the Kingdom of Lucis has remained out of his grasp. He was given the idea to invade Lucis and capture the Crystal by Ardyn, so he can increase his power. His Magiteknology powers his army and with that, he can do anything.

Not at level 200, yet? Check out the Aldercapt New Hero Guide.

Aldercapt Hero Skills

Aldercapt boosts Dark Core, Dark Elemental, and Dark Mercenary troops with a focus on Siege, Fire, and Airship. Is it enough to make Siege and Airship worthwhile? Probably not, but hey there’s Fire! There is a significant increase in the Capital and Fort Attack stats, however, there is NOTHING for their HP and Armor. Because of this, we could see a lot of players getting bumped out of these tiles frequently. If you find that you do not have enough AP points to get some of these new skills unlocked, you can try removing points from some earlier skills OR craft some Magitek Hero Chests in the Magitek Converter! Find out more about these chests in the Verstael Hero Guide.

Aldercapt Mastery Skills

A lot of Aldercapt’s Mastery skills are going to be identical to his Hero Skills. Although there is an extra Debuff skill: Astral Resistance. However, you will NOT find any Mirror Hero stats increases in this section of his Mastery Skills, since they are not the newest Royal Dark stats. It is pretty nice to see that these skills unlock early, so it doesn’t take a lot of work to make use of these persistent skills.

Guild Adventure Hall

Aldercapt is the ONLY hero that has not been granted extra abilities in the Guild Adventure Hall. So, there’s nothing to note here. Sorry, Iedolas, you are the weakest link… GOOD-BYE!

Mirror Hero: Special Research

Even though Aldercapt doesn’t have any increases to his current Mirror Hero stats in the Mastery Skills, you can find some NEW stats in the Mirror Hero tab in the University. Along with the original Mirror Hero Aldercapt: Dark Siege and Dark Astral Attack Resistance, there are now two more:  Royal Dark Airship and Royal Dark Fire. This makes sense since we are transitioning to Royal Dark stats and it would be pointless to add to the original Dark stats.

You will need to acquire the new Mirror Hero: Aldercapt Special Research Tokens to unlock the new skills. You will also need to have Aldercapt’s Mirror included in combat to benefit from the new stats.

Comparing Aldercapt to Crowe

Information is power, and this chart will help you determine which hero will be the best to use to suit your combat techniques. Even though they each have the basic troop stats, you’ll find that one may have an advantage depending on what type of battle you will be taking part in.

Crowe/Aldercapt Comparison Chart

Should You Level Up Aldercapt?

You’ll be able to unlock every skill as soon as you level up and have the points since they all unlock at 101. His boosts are good enough, even in his Mastery Skills to make it worth the effort it takes to level him up. Especially if you participate in the Capital and Fort events as the Assault Attacks for these tiles are pretty high compared to other heroes. However, don’t count on Aldercapt to help you out in any way when you’re running the Guild Adventure Hall with your guildmates!
