Crepera Lucis Caelum, the queen of Lucis known as Crepera, the Rogue, was questioned because, during that time, women were considered unfit to rule. Because of this, she kept on the down-low and essentially hid in the shadows to establish her rule. Just like the Monument of a king of yore states:
“A secretive queen who hid her face from the public’s prying eyes and focused on leading her country through crisis.
While her deeds were met with praise in the years after her passing, she was shrouded in mystery during her reign, which earned her the nickname ‘the Rogue.'”
-King of yore monument
Crepera seized the throne of Lucis after Daemons killed her father and brother. Daemons were nocturnal monsters that plague the world of Eos. Even though she stayed out of the public eye, she still managed to go down in history as a proficient leader who drove Lucis through their crisis. After her passing, her soul followed into the Ring of Lucii. Her spirit lives in the colossal statue in the Crown City of Insomnia.
Now in FFXV: A New Empire, we can summon her to help us inflict damage upon our assailants or protect us in crisis. In this guide, we will incorporate:
- Quick review about Conclave of Lucis and how to unlock Crepera
- Crepera Skill Tree/Sigil Chart
- How should we skill her?
- Tonitrus vs. Crepera
Next, let’s summon Crepera into the Conclave of Lucis!
Conclave of Lucis
The Conclave of Lucis requires a building unlock. As of now, it still only achievable from the Gold Store. Once opened, you can summon the spirit, similar to how you call the Astrals and Mounts.
While Somnus and Tronitus only require their types of Empowerment Sigils to unlock and proceed to level up, this isn’t the case for Crepera. To open her, she demands a level one Conclave of Lucis and 100,000 Unlock Crepera the Rogue Token BEFORE using Crepera Empowerment Sigils.
She currently maxes at level 50.
Check out her Empowerment Sigils chart below!
Once the mightly queen is summoned, she will provide passive boosts to your Troops. You do not send her in a march, so do not worry. If you are protecting your Empire, the Crystal, Tiles, you name it. She is there for you! The same goes for attack mode.
The Summoning Power will dictate the durability of your spirit. Each of the spirits will have its own Summoning Power, again just like the Astrals and Mounts. The higher the Summoning Power, the better your attack and health stats will be and the determination into the damage inflicted.
Crepera
A third of the bloodline available for us to summon in Final Fantasy: A New Empire! Remember (yes, some of us disregard it by accident, don’t judge!) to activate her to stimulate her boost. Conclave of Lucis DOES NOT provide multi summon defense so you are required to pick who you’d like to use.
Keep in mind, if you are not utilizing her outside of your Empire, she is enduring beside them defending your Empire. Crepera specializes in Crystal, Disputed Realms, along with City Assault. She is also the first one to boost your March and Rally size in addition to providing some synergies.
Check out her Skill Tree as we break it down!

Crepera Empowerment Sigil Chart
How should I skill her?
Not all of us can max her out right away, so, therefore, we want to prioritize where we skill her.
Summoning Power is quite similar to Rank for Mounts, because of that, take advantage of that first. That will be the most essential one to skill. It will help you in any situation you are in. Then you want to look into Crepera stats herself to strengthen her; after all, she is going to be fighting for you.
If you are a Crystal fighter, then you will enjoy the stats she provides as it is long overdue. Make sure you pair her up with Ravus to benefit the stats even further. Skill Crysatlized Aura and take account of the Rally Capacity bonuses as well. While you’re there, make sure to utilize the Dark Elemental Troops skill as well to strengthen your Lightning Troops.
Not a Crystal fighter? No worries, her City Assault stats paired up with Nyx’s boots is one heck of a hit. Ever wonder why lower-level Elementals are starting to come forward and be the new front lines?
However, in terms of defense, unfortunately, her Guardian stats will not make a distinct difference with the new KT%s of Core Troop stats that are out now. Unless we get new Mercenary Troops soon, you can overlook and apply the skills elsewhere, such as her overall Monster Troops, Mercenary, Elemental Skills.
The ultimate question remains, is she better than Tonitrus?
How does she compare, and when is she worth it?
Since King of Lucis is not passive, and we have to choose which one to use like Mounts, we need to make comparisons and figure out when she starts benefiting us.
Tonitrus Level 50 vs. Crepera Level 50
Tonitrus Dark Troop stats:
- 675B% Dark Troop Attack
- 50B% Dark Troop HP
- 150B% Dark Troop Armor
Crepera Dark Troop stats:
- 9T% Dark Core Troop Attack
- 4T% Dark Core Troop HP
- 12T% Dark Core Troop Armor
As we can see, there is quite a bit of a difference between the two, but when does she start overpowering Tonitrus?
Tonitrus Level 50 vs. Crepera Level 1
Tonitrus Dark Troop stats:
- 675B% Dark Troop Attack
- 50B% Dark Troop HP
- 150B% Dark Troop Armor
Crepera Dark Troop stats:
- 1.5T% Dark Troop Attack
- 1.4T% Dark Troop HP
- 4.2T% Dark Troop Armor
While we can see it is clear in terms of Dark Troop stats, she is the clear winner.
However, because she has more benefits that lean on the Crystal side instead of solo attacking, Tonitrus still performs better in terms of troop survivability and damage inflicted upon enemies until she reaches the 30s.
