King Noctis does it again! This time with even more massive boosts to your empire than ever before. You will get an extra Astral march slot along with a new Dark Troop attack, armor, and HP boosts against Sentry Troops. Sentry Troops look to be a new type of troops that we will fight during special events. I can’t wait!

It seems that the game is making it easier to get some levels on King Noctis, so make sure you are taking advantage of any event that you can. The medals needed are also available in GUILD events. So if you’re one of the people who can help complete a guild event, be sure to do so for the littles in your team. I’m sure they will appreciate every bit of it.

Hero Skills Overview

You will see more boosts to his Mirror Hero troop as well as Crystal, Monster, and many Dark Troop type stats increases. As a result, he might take over as the preferred hero of choice for many types of combat. Most of these skills don’t have any prerequisites other than the necessary hero level to unlock them. So don’t forget to scroll down to unlock any of them that might be hiding under the higher-level skills. If you need to, don’t forget that you can use a Hero Skills Reset if you need to change anything at any time.

King Noctis Hero Skills Tree

Hero Skills Tree

MP Recovery: Increases your MP Recovery by up to a max of 50,000%. Requires King Noctis hero level 251. This makes your MP bar regenerate faster. Certainly necessary with the increases MP bars that we have now.

Hero Critical Hit: Increases your Hero Critical Hit by up to a max of 5%. Requires King Noctis hero level 251. It might not seem like much, but all the ways to increase your Critical Hit add up. 100% would mean that every monster hit ends up being a Critical Hit. This increases your damage by a huge amount.

Hero Attack: Increases your Hero Attack by up to a max of 5,000%. Requires King Noctis hero level 251. This is a monster attack boost.

Hero Critical Damage: Increases your Hero Critical Damage by up to a max of 50%. Requires King Noctis hero level 280. Goes nicely with the Critical Hit boost above, since it increases how hard a Critical Hit attacks for.

Hero Streak: Increases your Hero Attack Streak by up to a max of 2. Requires King Noctis Hero level 380. The higher your streak is against a monster, the harder the hit. Use this when you want to KILL a monster quickly. The more streak you get per hit, the fewer hits you need before you can do a max hit and kill that sucker!

Dark Warrior Attack III: Increases your Dark Warrior attack by up to a max of 90M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 252.

Dark Mage Attack III: Increases your Dark Mage attack by up to a max of 90M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 252.

Dark Cavalry Attack III: Increases your Dark Cavalry attack by up to a max of 90M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 252.

Dark Ice Troop Attack: Increases your Dark Ice Troop attack by up to a max of 67.5M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 260.

Dark Ice Troop HP: Increases your Dark Ice Troop HP by up to a max of 90M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 259.

Dark Ice Troop Armor: Increases your Dark Ice Troop armor by up to a max of 270M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 258.

Extreme Dark Astral Armor Massacre: Increases your Extreme Dark Astral Armor Massacre by up to a max of 10%. Requires King Noctis hero level 270.

Extreme Dark Astral Attack Massacre: Increases your Extreme Dark Astral Attack Massacre by up to a max of 10%. Requires King Noctis hero level 275.

Certainly, this is a major gain from what he had before. His Dark Astral Massacre skills reduce the damage from enemy Astrals as well as increasing your damage to their Astrals. The Monster Attack skills are helpful when you need to kill monsters quickly. But what about when you DON’T want them to die fast? Well, just use your VIP Hero Skills Points removal benefit and zero out those skills. This means more hits on fewer monsters for points or trophies.

Mastery Skills Overview

His Mastery Skills Tree is huge and starts right after his Limit Break. First, you will see Dark Troop’s bonuses against Sentry Troops. Then there are Dark Core Troops boosts, followed by Mercenary and Elemental stats skills. Also, just to mix things up a bit, you will see Crystal boosts and Mirror Hero troops stats increases. The last skill on the tree is the Astral march capacity increase. As we know, every astral is important in battle, so don’t miss out on unlocking this at hero level 369.

Dark Troop HP Against Sentry Troops: Increases your Dark Troop HP against Sentry Troops up to a max of 50M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 352. If it is a Neutral Empire type troop, it’s going to be one that can hurt your troops since there are HP and armor boosts.

Dark Troop Armor Against Sentry Troops: Increases your Dark Troop armor against Sentry Troops up to a max of 150M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 352.

Dark Warrior Empowerment: Increases your Dark Warrior attack by up to a max of 90M%, Dark Warrior HP by up to a max of 90M%, and Dark Warrior armor by up to a max of 270M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 350.

Dark Cavalry Empowerment: Increases your Dark Cavalry attack by up to a max of 90M%, Dark Cavalry HP by up to a max of 90M%, and Dark Cavalry armor by up to a max of 270M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 350.

Dark Mage Empowerment: Increases your Dark Mage attack by up to a max of 90M%, Dark Mage HP by up to a max of 90M%, and Dark Mage armor by up to a max of 270M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 350.

Dark Troop Attack III: Increases your Dark Troop attack by up to a max of 150M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 353.

Dark Troop Armor III: Increases your Dark Troop armor by up to a max of 90M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 350.

Dark Troop HP III: Increases your Dark Troop HP by up to a max of 30M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 353.

Dark Mercenary Armor II: Increases your Dark Mercenary armor by up to a max of 105M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 355.

Guardian Empowerment: Increases your Dark Guardian HP by up to a max of 35M%, Dark Guardian Armor by up to a max of 210M%, and Dark Guardian attack by up to a max of 150M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 352. This stacks with the previous Mercenary stats boosts for your Guardians! Stay safe in your empire or send Guardians out to do your dirty work.

Dark Elemental Armor Piercing: Increases your Dark Elemental Armor Piercing by up to a max of 45M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 352.

Dark Elemental Cripple HP: Increases your Dark Elemental Cripple HP by up to a max of 15M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 355.

Dark Crystal Holding Armor II: Increases your Dark Crystal Defense armor by up to a max of 250M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 358.

Dark Troop Attack IV: Increases your Dark Troop attack by up to a max of 150M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 357. ANOTHER Dark Troop attack boost in his Mastery Skills.

Dark Rally Attack: Increases your Dark Rally attack by up to a max of 150M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 351. This stacks with the previous Dark Crystal rally attack when you are sending a rally to the Crystal.

Dark City Assault Attack: Increases your Dark City assault attack by up to a max of 175M%. Requires King Noctis hero level 350.

Astral March Capacity: Increases your Astral march capacity by 1. Requires King Noctis hero level 369. Unlock this as soon as you can to decimate your foes.

Hero and Mastery Skills Resets

These are helpful to have when you need to get a few extra points for a skill. Or when you need to change something up to better suit your gameplay. Most noteworthy, with VIP 141 you can add and remove skill points in the Hero Skills Tree for free, even without a reset. Helpful when you’re just changing up a few things.

One example of needing to reset skills would be to take over and keep the Crystal. If all your points mostly allotted to attacking Citadels and you need more points, just take some out of City Assault and change them over to the Crystal skills. Make sure to look at all the heroes’ Mastery Skills since they apply no matter which hero you have active.

King Noctis Events Prizes

It seems that we are getting better prizes from events, and King Noctis is showing us how awesome that is. Leveling him up has become easier at the beginning with the Dark Medals showing up almost daily. I still even see Ignis and Ravus Dark Medals at times. Be sure to gather them all up so you can save some extra cash in the long run. It seems to me that events AND packs are changing to suit what you need at the time, so sometimes waiting too long to level up might be detrimental to your empire.

In a Nutshell

King Noctis Banner

King Noctis is the latest hero level release as of the date this was written. I’ve noticed a lot of people that have taken advantage of the most recent events to level him up. Likewise, they’ve been able to level up their Astrals and Citadels, although slowly. Even so, we can still benefit from having King Noctis in tip-top shape, so get to grinding those events!

How high have you been able to get your King Noctis without a pack? Let me know on Facebook and show off your MP bar while you’re at it!
