The power of the Royals and Veterans has come to FFXV: ANE in a third skill tree for many of your Heroes. The Power of Kings, Power of Queens and Power of Veterans give additional boosts for your Empire with a plethora of skilling options. In today’s guide we will discuss;

  • What exactly are the Power of Kings, Queens and Veterans?
  • How do you skill them?
  • What boosts do they have?

What is the Power of the Kings, Power of Queens and Power of Veterans?

These are additional skilling option under the Skill Tree section of your Hero. Not all Heroes have this option yet, but more are being added regularly.

How do I skill them?

Using the powers of royalty requires special items available in events and the pack store.

Power of Queens

In order to skill the Power of Queens, you must first use Power of Queens Unlock Medals to unlock Level 1 for ability points to spend skilling. Once you have done that, use Power of Queens Upgrade Medals. As you unlock new levels, more ability points will be given to you to spend on skilling.

Power of Kings and Veterans

The same theory holds for the Power of Kings and Power of Veterans, but you will be using their specifc materials instead of Power of Queens (of course).

Who has these powers and what do they do?

Let’s take a look at each available Heroes’ skill powers under Power of the King/Queen/Veteran. These skills work like Mastery Skills. In other words, they are always active no matter which Hero you have on, and the boosts are stackable.
