What are the Kings of Lucis?
When a reigning Monarch of Lucis passes, his spirit resides in the Ring of Lucii. By wielding this ring, you can summon these ancient Kings to bestow you with their powers. You can find the Kings of Lucis in the Conclave of Lucis, learn more in the Auxiliary Buildings 2.0 Guide.
These Kings of Lucis are summons similar to Mounts and Astrals. Although they do NOT need to be included in an outgoing march to benefit from their boosts.
Kings of Lucis have a special stat:
Summoning Power
This skill is unique to the Kings of Lucis and will increase their strength and boosts your troops in combat. It works as a sort of troop stat multiplier and greatly improves your battle results!
BONUS: There is a 5% increase in Summoning Power when combat takes place in defending your empire.
Using the Kings Effectively
Passive Kings
The active King of Lucis’ skills will apply in ANY combat, no matter where it takes place. Since you don’t have to worry about sending him out in a march, that is one less step before you dominate your enemies.
Healing and Health
Just like Astrals and Mounts, Kings of Lucis will do better in combat when their Health is full. You can use an Astral Full Health Talisman if needed to fill up the Health Bar. From what it looks like, the only way to lose health on a King is from defensive combat and only if you lose all of your troops (OH NO). So, no need to worry about their Health unless you’ve been zeroed! Even leveling up a King of Lucis and thus increasing their max Health keeps the bar full.
Skill Points
If you’ve messed up in skilling your King or you need to change something to enhance your gameplay, then don’t worry because resetting your skills is free. On the top of the Skills Tree page is a Reset Skills button which can be used as many times as needed.
Persistent Skills
There are two Kings of Lucis (so far) that have persistent Skills Trees. The first is The Wise with The Wise Tutelage. The second one is The Tall with The Tall Discipline. Why are they named differently? Who knows? No matter what they’re called, those boosts will apply no matter which King has been summoned. You can think of these as Mastery Skills similar to your heroes.
More Secret Tips?
Each King of Lucis has hidden talents that could improve your gameplay in and out of combat. Find out more in the Secrets of Astrals, Mounts, and Kings Guide so you can take on Eos with a vengeance!
Conclave of Lucis
Similar to the Astral Shrine, the Conclave of Lucis is the place that the Kings of Lucis call home. You can summon them in this building, level them up, and then skill them to your heart’s content. Unlike the Astral Shrine, the Conclave has not been built up past level 1.
