We know for sure that Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire is that it is a war game. Whether it is attacking, trapping, or defending against your adversaries. One of the most fundamental yet thrilling parts of this game is Rallies, particularly when your Guild is energized working together. Even though solo hits have become dominating in the game to date, it is always pleasant to have that slight edge if you have the right tools and players for it. We all know the stats can explicitly make or break your game. Rally Boost generally gets overlooked due to being focused on other things such as Soloing or Defending. If you plan to be a War Leader, it’s essential to have your general boosts on par, and your Rally boosts.

Review the list below to exceed the expectations beyond your limitations when going off to war against your opponents.

In this guide, we will cover:

  • What is a Rally?
  • Reading a Rally screen.
  • Maximizing Rally Capacity and where to find Rally bonuses
  • Advice and tips from the community
  • What guides should I read after this one?
  • Latest guides at FFXVANE Hub

What is a Rally?

Rally

A Rally is when guildmates get together and join forces to hit an opponent. Typically it would occur when you need some support from your Guild to exterminate more Troops, Claim a Crystal, or when you want to rush to zero someone and take too long to do so. Knowing your Troop composition is vital to make the most of your impact.

Usually, the strongest person in your Guild would conduct a Rally. When I say the “strongest person,” this does not always reflect their power number but their stat numbers.

Next, let’s go over some basics, such as starting a Rally and reading the screen.

Reading a Rally Screen

When you have a target, you would like to Rally, click on the player, and don’t forget to battle mark them for taking advantage of the battle mark bonuses!

Click the Rally button.

Rally button

Next, you will see a Rally timer screen appear; this allows you to select the time you’d like to give your Guild and when you would like to send the march.

Rally Timer

Once you have chosen the timeframe, add your march accordingly. Sending the suitable troop composition is essential, as this will make all the difference, so make sure you know what your enemy base has or the latest with the releases and stats.

When your Rally Leader has set the Rally, you may add your march to assist your Rally Leader. Typically, it is crucial to discuss what is desired in the Rally before preparing to send it quickly.

Cannot find the War Rally Screen to add your Troops when it pops up? Select the Guild button located at the bottom middle bar.

Guild Tab

Scroll down and tap the Guild War to direct you to the screen.

Guild War

Lastly, add your March into the Rally or hit the VIP Rally Queue if your Rally Leader wants the same Troops!

(Unlocks at VIP 205!)

Guild Research

As Guild Research gets introduced in the game, you can donate different Emblems to your Guild Research tree, allowing boosts that will benefit your entire Guild! Make sure you click on the Guild tab on the bottom row, click on your Guild Research, finally click on the item being researched, and donate.

You may give 10% of the required Emblems needed ten times a day in 24 hours. Since it is limited in this case, make sure you communicate with your Guild and work together!

Since updating this guide, some servers have a +20 Daily Donation Realm Boost.

There are a few Rally boosts that can benefit your War Leader.

Guild Dark Mercenary March and Rally Size, Guild Dark March and Rally Size, Guild Dark Elemental March and Rally Size, Guild Rally Time Reduction, last but not least Guild Dark Rally Attack and HP.

Power of Kings/Queens

Power of Kings/Queens is similar to Mastery Skills; as a matter of fact, the boosts will apply no matter what Hero you choose to use. But leveling them is just a tad different. You use your Power of Kings/Queens Skill Unlock or Advanced Power of King/Queen Medals to unlock level skill points to apply them into your Power of Kings/Queens tree. With this in mind, here are the Power of King/Queen Hero Skills that contain the Rally Boosts needed for your wars

Rally Tips from Players

Dark Troops

In the FFXV Hub Line room, I have requested players to share their tips and stories about Rallying they have learned over the years playing the game across the severs.

Some players have chosen to remain anonymous to conceal their game identity.

Anonymous: “Rally Leader’s research elevates the research level of ALL troops donated.”

Mayzing0: “As the Rally Leader, you can change your Gems around AFTER you set the Rally (assuming you’re VIP 30+). Read the report and know the troop attack flow that Cav beat Mage beat Warriors beat Cavs to maximize the damage and NEVER send Siege!”

Anonymous: “Speed and accurate donations are key to successful Rallies…always follow the leader’s instructions since his or her Hero and reputation are on the line.”

Kato: “Supply the Troops that the Rally Leaders request. If you don’t know, ask. Otherwise, don’t add.”

Anonymous: “VIP queue is flawed; at times, it doesn’t send Astrals, so presets are a MUST.”

Anonymous: “Anyone in the guild can speed the donations to the leader, even if they are not participating.”

Anonymous: “Crystal Rallies only allow one speed up to be used, so use it wisely.”

Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to reach out to give your input and guidance to the community!
